FIRST STEP - CHECKING AQUARIUMS

After a quick cup of coffee and a short bike trip at around 8 o'clock, my work day at the Kattegatcentret begins. The first thing that has to be done in the morning is to perform a routine check of all the aquariums in order to make sure that all the fish are still doing well and everything looks like it is supposed to, before the first guests arrive. As a non biologically educated volunteer, it is of course not such a good idea for me to do these checks all by myself, but rather together with a colleague who knows exactly what to look for.
